This site explains each step in plain words. It also gives you a list of questions and shows what a good answer sounds like.
How Matching Works

The match depends on where you live, the work you need and which providers are taking jobs. 4. You may hear from one provider or more than one.

We ask providers to:

Providers are independent businesses. They hold their own licenses and insurance and stand behind their own work. Ask to see proof before you hire.
What We Do Not Do
We do not do the work. We do not set prices. We do not sign contracts with you. We do not hold warranties. If something goes wrong on a job, the provider is responsible. We still want to hear about it.
